ReplyDeleteI think that you have come up with some great questions to ask Laura Dekker. I really hope that she will come to New Zealand one day so that we can find out more about her. I think that she is a really interesting person. I've never know anyone who has made the choice to hop on a sailboat and travel around the world all by themselves. It seems like a really brave decision to me. What about you? Do you think that she was brave to set sail on her own?
Like you, I do wonder how young she was when she first started sailing. I think that she must have been pretty young in order to develop the skills that she needed to circumnavigate (travel around) the world by herself as a young teenager. I bet that she started learning how to sail when she was 3 or 4 years old. What do you think?
