I really like the idea that you have come up with for your holiday. 'Free Day' sounds pretty amazing to me! I think that it would be amazing to be able to shop at any store that I wanted and choose something that I could have for free.
If I could choose any store to shop at on 'Free Day' I would choose a store called 'Zara.' I just love their clothes but I can't afford them :(. I hope that the Prime Minister of New Zealand adopts your idea of a 'Free Day' so we can all go to our favourite shop and choose a special treat.
If you could choose any store to visit, which one would you choose?
I think this is a fantastic idea! I'm not sure how it would work out for shops. Wouldn't the shop owners lose a lot of money?
I would make a holiday called "Help Day" where everyone has to help someone that isn't their family or close friend. Maybe it could be small like visiting a lonely old person, or something a little bigger like buying food for a homeless man, or shoes for a poor child, or groceries for a family, or fixing a window in someones home. I think that would be nice, and if everyone joined in, there would be a lot happier faces and more friends in this country.
