What a great photo, Pupuke! I think that my son, Aronui, has exactly the same cricket bat. He is just learning how to play but he already loves it!
Over the past few weeks we have actually been watching a few cricket games on TV. Do you ever have the chance to watch cricket matches? I had never even seen a game before I moved to New Zealand because we don't play cricket in North America but I've slowly started to watch it and to understand more of it. I am a huge fan of the Black Caps these days and really like that the captain, Kane Williamson, and I share the same last name.
How cool is that?! I wonder if we're distant cousins....
