 17 September 1939 The Soviet Invasion Of Poland - This is about the Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union that did a secret protocol, and in result Soviet union ended up getting a big surprise.



16 October 1939 First German Air Raid On UK - This about the time in the UK where a air raid first ever happend. 

Cheesecake

Beat the cream cheese with the Sugar, add to jelly, stirring until well combined and creamy smooth. In a separate bowl, whip chilled milk until thick and fold into mixture. Add vanilla essence. Pour into crumb base and put in fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Making a Fashion Statement

VE Day

We would probably go down to the beach and go for a swim then have a little something to eat, then have a little jam and sing our national anthem and just talk about why we celebrate this day and a have a couple laughs.

The Big Surprise

I drop down onto my knees and a I take a breath and look to see if anyone is near me, there was no one around me so I entered the room, I looked and I nearly fainted, I saw my patients that needed to be treated all laying on the ground lifeless with their eyes wide open, I had just entered a huge shock, my hands could not move, I was stiff as a tree, and it was like I was in a nightmare. I ran out of the room and tried to look for help, but just of the corner of my eye i saw a tall figure running towards me,when I went to go look it was Captain James, when he had come he told me that we had just been attacked by two droops sent from our  opponent Commander Le Shang, we must take action immediately. The captain then goes and gets his gun, he takes me with him to where the gun shots are happening, and then..... to be continued

Today Is Your Special Day

If I was that person then I would bring clothing and foot wear for the adults, many chocolates, candy and nice healthy snacks, and little toys for the little ones.

I'm Here To Help

1. I would start a fundraiser for all the people that are going over seas and the people that are not. So they have enough money to get food for their children, and buy the things they need.


2. Next I would start a food bank, so I can help to survive and help save money.



3. Lastly I would donate Gallons and Gallons of water because they keep having droughts.

My Three Tips For De-stressing Stress

1. My first tip is taking five, this activity is what I learned at school when my class was doing Mindfulness, all you do is take out your left or right hand and hold it out in front of you, and with the index finger in the other hand and run it up starting from the bottom of the hand near the thumb and going up then back down all threw the hand, while you are doing that breath in and out. Here's a picture of how you are suppose to do it.

2. This one is just a simple de-stress activity, I just get a balloon and fill it with tooth paste, and this turns it into a stress ball.






3. This one is just a easy breathing exercise, breath in and keep it in for 5 seconds, then breath out for 5 seconds, repeat and the results will show.

My Sensory Poem

The smell of the fresh wind as it goes up my nose, the cool breeze as it flushes threw my hair. I see over the ocean, I can here as the planes goes of, the engine is working, I can here everyone cheering, the birds are chirping.

I give this painting a 4 out of 5, the reason why I gave it a four was because I think the bland of colour goes really together, and it just has a nice flow to it.

Gold Rush

I would  not like watching this movie, but others might like silent movies such as this, but this I do not like due to the poor action that is put into tis film. I'm not quite sure what the actors are doing but I think they're going skiing, I'm not sure

ANZAC

This poem makes me feel very lucky, sad and all these other mixed feelings. Just reading that nearly made me tear up, it just reminded me of all the people that went and  fought for our country and risked their entire future, and some lives ended and some families hearts crushed.

Womens Rights

I think it is not fair, because women should have a right to do things that men do so everyone can be treated equaly and treated fairly. back then women didn't get the opportunity to show people that they are more then pretty looks, when they know they could do big thing in life.

Ready For The Race

I would have to do with a yes and no.

Firstly I would participate so I can make New Zealand proud and looks like a lot of hard work put into it, and would like to call myself a hard working kind of person.

But my other reason for no, is because I will  definitely not be able to reach that strength in the arms and I think legs, yes, sure I am a hard worker, but not that hard working physically.

I'm Letting You Know I'm Okay

Dear my be loved family and friends back home

It is me Kupe  just here to tell you how I have been doing, and what I have been up to lately. sailing here was the hardest thing to do, leaving everyone I love was devastating, when I arrived I wasn't really sure what to do then, I was to tired and had no energy to build or start harvesting, so I went straight to sleep, trying to sleep was very hard, homesick, ruff ground, it was really hard to put up with, but these couple few weeks I have settled quite nicely. I have a nice roof over my head, plenty of food and I was able to make a very cosy place for me to sleep on.

Maui the Demigod

#1 Maui had older brothers.
#2 In some way he felt left out because every time his older brothers went fishing. when they had come back Maui said if he could go fishing with next time.
#3 Maui would do everything in his power to prove and show them that is manly and strong enough to be one of them.

End of The Year

We are very close to the end of the year, I am excited but sad at the same time. I am happy and excited for the new year 7 to come in next year, but sad to see all the years 8 go of to college. Us year 7s and 8s have been practicing and preparing for our prize giving and cultural performance day. Room 12 have been looking forward to this day, and are thrilled for the holidays, during the holidays the schools in the Manaiakalani cluster and others can do a holiday blogging program, called The Summer Learning Journey.
