Login Protection
Almost everyday people login into numerous devices that they use, and at libraries etc. I personally love going to the library and logging in and doing my work, but many people that go and login and do what they have to do, they usually forget to log out. Which is why I'm here to remind you to always log out of devices that you do not own. If you do not log out people can do mean things to you that you do not know.

Hip Hop Class With Our Coach Jess
Today was the first session of many in our hip hop group for Room 12. We have gatherings every Tuesday at 11:55pm. We have a couch named Jess.
The moves that she taught us were quite confusing, but we tried our best. The very first thing we had done was a warm up, she had explained the difference between stretching and dance warm ups.
I was not that keen at the moves she was teaching, but later on I got the hang of it.

Making Burgers At Tech
Today was the last cooking session for group A. For the last week we have made some Egg Burgers.
My buddy Alex and I, first had to get out our white chopping board and then listen carefully. We also had to get out our baking tray, and put our buns on it, then put them in the oven. We had to set our oven to 180c, when that task was complete, we had to pull out our frying pan and put two eggs and fry them, once they were done we had to put them onto our white chopping board. We then had to get our tomato, onion, lettuce and slice and dice all ingredients equally. Once that was done, our buns had been transformed into a nice brown and golden color.
We then had to assemble all our ingredients and put them together. Just a quick tip, don't cook your eggs with to much oil, trust me.

Road Safety
This week is road safety week, and all classes are learning about the topic. Room 12 has been split into five groups and have been engaging on the road and car safety topic.
Mrs Golder and Mr Reid have to be looking out for people that are being road and car safety wise. Also some of the Room 12 students have even been working on surveys for the whole class to fill out. The prefects had held up posters at our assembly, and talked about putting your seat belt on and turning your phone off if you're the driver.
Make sure that you always wear your seat belt and focus on the road if you are a driver.

Our Daily Fitness
After a long time of laying down and having a break in the holidays, it is time for students to get their fitness up and running. The senior students of Ruapotaka School have been running around the senior block each morning for the past four days. We run for ten minutes and we have to keep up with the pace.
Mrs Golder keeps track of the time while the other teachers go to a specific location to help guide the students. Personally, the two most difficult parts of our fitness routine is keeping up my stamina and going up the big hill.

Back To School
Ruapotaka School has just now began their first week of Term 2, 2018. I am so thrilled to be back and keen to work hard and become better than before at school.
The senior block has inter-school soccer this term, and I'm hoping that we have a wide range of people to participate.
Last year's team was great. We had tied for first place with a school called Stonefields.
I am sure many people have been practicing to see if they can make the team and represent our school.
I'm looking forward to the end of the term to see who has placed first in our school houses. Last term the house that won was yellow. The students were allowed to go outside and have an extra ten to fifteen minutes of play.
I am also excited to see what class my group and I will go to next in Tech after we complete our cooking classes. Our cooking teacher said that we might have three to four weeks of cooking left before we change to the nest one.
